Does Simply Piano require a specific keyboard?

No. Simply Piano works with any keyboard or piano that produces sound, because it can listen through your device's microphone. For the best experience, though, use a keyboard with a MIDI connection (USB or Bluetooth MIDI) and ideally 88 weighted keys.

Can I use a 61-key keyboard for Simply Piano?

Yes. Early lessons fit comfortably on 61 keys. The limitation shows up later, when advanced courses and full songs use the wider range. A 61-key board is a good budget start, but plan to move to 88 keys if you stick with it.

Do I need MIDI, or is the microphone enough?

The microphone is enough to *use* the app, but MIDI is strongly recommended. MIDI is faster, more accurate, immune to background noise, and unlocks features that pause when you misplay. If your keyboard supports USB or Bluetooth MIDI, use it.

Does my keyboard need Bluetooth?

No — Bluetooth MIDI is a convenience, not a requirement. A wired USB connection works just as well and is often more stable. Only chase Bluetooth if going cable-free matters to you, and make sure the spec says Bluetooth MIDI, not Bluetooth Audio.
